The Business Valuation Challenge 2023, organized by the esteemed CBV Institute, is not just another student competition. It's a battleground where undergraduate students from Canada's top business schools come together to showcase their prowess in business valuation. And guess what? It's not just about the glory; it's about the green too! With a whopping $10,000 up for grabs for the top team, this challenge is as lucrative as it is enlightening.

• Date: The challenge is set to take place on November 8 and 9, 2023.
• Registration: Don't dilly-dally! Registrations close on October 13, 2023.

The core of this challenge revolves around a business valuation case study, meticulously crafted by some of the most respected CBVs out there. It's tailored for the undergraduate mind, ensuring it's challenging yet comprehensible.

The stakes? High. The rewards? Even higher. The top team walks away with $10,000 and a complimentary enrolment to Level 1 in the CBV Program of Studies. But fret not, the second and third place aren't leaving empty-handed. They'll pocket $5,000 and $2,500, respectively.

1. Training Session: All participants get a chance to attend a training session on October 25, 2023. This is where you'll learn the ABCs of business valuation.
2. Case Study Distribution: Brace yourselves! The case study will be distributed on November 2, 2023.
3. Presentation Day: On Day 1, each team gets a 20-minute window to virtually present their findings to the CBV judges. The top five teams will then proceed to the final round the next day.
4. Final Round: Based on feedback from Day 1, the top five teams will present their refined cases. The final order will be announced by none other than Dr. Christine Sawchuk, the President & CEO of CBV Institute.
